This website has been produced by the 18 schools in the Bottisham, Burwell and Soham Locality. We hope that it will be a useful source of general parenting information for parents and carers of children aged 0-16.

 

Swine Flu 

There have been cases confirmed at one school in our cluster

For all parents and carers who have medical questions such as

  • Are we at risk?
  • Will my child get Tamiflu?
  • Can my child go out?
  • Can they go swimming?
  • Will they get treatment?
  • Can I visit relatives
  • Can I go to work?
  • Should I avoid grandparents?
  • Can my child go to a childminder?

The advice from the Health Protection Agency (HPA) is to contact

If you have any specific concerns or believe you are at greater risk to contact your GP

If you have any flu like symptoms, to stay at home and contact your GP
