Bottisham, Burwell and Soham Area Children’s Centres

Sure Start children’s centres are places where parent’s of children under five years old can receive information and advice about support, services and activities. Soham Children’s centre is based at the Weatheralls Primary School next to the primary school. It has a play room, family room and sensory room which provide many activities for the community. These activities range from Ring a Ring a Roses, a play session for grandparents and older carers and their under fives to Rhyme Time, a song and rhyme session. 

Bottisham Children’s Centre is based at Bottisham Youth and Community Centre on the High Street. We have a large hall and a family room for activities. Bottisham activities include Stay and Play with lunch provided and Over 1’s group for toddlers. We plan to move to a refurbished building at Bottisham Village College in 2010.

Although we have centres in Soham and Bottisham we do provide activities and services for parents with children under 5 in the surrounding areas including Burwell, Isleham, Fordham, Swaffham Bulbeck, Swaffham Prior, Cheveley, Kennett, Lode, Wicken, Stetchworth, Dullingham, Chippenham, Kirtling and Westley Waterless.
