WHO ARE WE?

We provide a variety of services for children, young people and families living in the Bottisham, Burwell and Soham areas.

Click on the map below to see a summary of the area.

Our staff have a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience. If we can’t help you  and your family directly, we will be able to connect you with the people who can.

WHAT WE DO

We work with Day Nurseries, pre-Schools, Childminders and Children’s Centres to help make sure such early years services are of high quality.

We make sure children attend school regularly and punctually.

We offer support to parents with children of all ages.

We work on an individual basis with some children or young people who need a bit of extra support.

We support young people (11-19) with information and advice about social and personal development opportunities. We also provide some of these opportunities.

We work with all schools within the Locality and other agencies to develop a range of services and activities to meet the needs of young people, their families and the wider community. These include after school clubs and activities, childcare for primary aged children and information for parents.

We support young people (13-19) with information, guidance and confidential advice about education, employment and training opportunities (the “Connexions” service).

We ensure that school age children and young people involved in employment and entertainment are doing so safely and within the law.

We work with secondary school students who have social, emotional or behaviour problems.

Where young people need help in making the transition to adulthood, we help them to find suitable education, training and support.
