Based in Health Centres and GP suregeries, Health Visitors, Nursery Nurses and School Nurses provide a wide range of health related services for children and families.

What is a Health Visitor?
The Health Visitor is a registered nurse with special training in assessment of the health needs of individuals, families and the community.

What is a Nursery Nurse?
A Nursery Nurse works alongside the Health Visitor and is qualified to support children and their families.

What is a School Nurse?
The School Nurse support children (up to the age of 19) and their families, both in and out of school, dealing with a variety of health related issues.

What do we do?
We offer a wide range of services, from running baby clinics to delivering Sex Education classes in schools. Listed below is an outline of our areas of work and services we can provide:

Ante-natally
